Years ago I read a book that borrowed huge impression on me. It had the simple title "Alien Civilization", and was written under the pseudonym Stefan Denaerde remarkable. I think that the man was afraid to be different to be declared insane, as he describes a chance encounter with beings from the 'green Iarga planetary nebula. They tell him in detail about their efficient lifestyle, the enjoyable social structure and advanced technology on their planet. On wear-free trains, cars floating, ocean floating bridges, unlimited prosperity, cosmic law, curious and creative wedding ideas happiness.

The first edition appeared in 1969, I bought a few months ago, an 8th 2dehands pressure for July 1996 peak. And yesterday I found on YouTube an extensive interview with this author in beautiful old black and white film. Apparently his story more topical! Watch Part 1 and Part 2 and try to imagine that life on earth (again) may be vastly different.
